"You Keep Me Hangin' On" is a song written and composed by Holland–Dozier–Holland. It was first recorded in 1966 by American Motown group the Supremes, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Supremes were the label's most commercially successful act, and in the summer of that year they recorded two songs written by the songwriting team Holland-Dozier-Holland: “You Can't Hurry Love”, and “You Keep Me Hangin' On”.
