Our neighbor Patti came over to visit and quickly enjoyed a giant bowl of this Crock Pot Cinnamon Applesauce. She even took a few containers home with her. She told me she is now the official taste tester for any applesauce recipes I decide to make.

This slow cooker homemade applesauce recipe is honestly ridiculously easy! The hardest part of this vegetarian slow cooker recipe is having to peel and core the store bought apples.

Crock Pot Cinnamon Applesauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • Apples - You can use Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, or any sweet apple variety you love.
  • Water
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon

Equipment Needed

Crockpot - We suggest using a crockpot that has a digital timer that automatically switches the slow cooker to warm after a set amount of time. This helps make sure your dinner cooks perfectly and you don't have to stress about what time it is going to be done.

Apple Peeler - You will want to use a comfortable apple peeler to peel all of the apples.

Apple Corer - I really want this apple corer that has an easy release handle so you don't have to try and shove the apple cores back through.

Hand Mixer - I used our KitchenAid Hand mixer to get the consistency I wanted. You can also use an Immersion Blender.
