Eden Shrooms Magic Mushroom

Blue Meanies Spore Syringe (P. Natalensis)
Strain Origin
The exact origin of the specimen known as the "Blue Meanie" is not very well documented or defined. After years of collecting specimens from around the globe in search of the legendary Blue Meanies, we think we have found the winner in this South African variety known locally as the Natal Super Strain (or Natal Super Strength). This strain exhibits all the characteristics of the legendary Blue Meanies, including vibrant blue coloring on the cap and stem, extremely vigorous mycelial growth, and much higher potency when compared with P. cubensis varieties. It is not to be confused with the many other mushrooms nicknamed "Blue Meanies" such as Psilocybe Azurescens or Panaeolus Cyanescens.
Known scientifically as the Psilocybe natalensis, it has some Psilocybe cubensis characteristics, however genetic testing has confirmed that it is in fact a unique species. It has been described as a sort of a hybrid between P. cubensis and Pan Cyan in regard to both its growth habits and psychoactive effects. It exhibits mycelial growth much like an aggressive, fast-colonizing Panaeolus Cyanescens, but can be cultivated via grain spawn much like Psilocybe cubensis, giving you the best of both worlds. In comparison to the closely related P. cubensis, it is very vigorous and highly resistant to disease and contamination. Many anecdotes have reported their potency as being 2-3x that of cubensis.

Features

Dark purple to brownish spores, sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Prints are generally 25-75mm in diameter and pretty good spore depositors

Costa Rican Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
This variety was originally labeled as an unknown landslide mushroom from Costa Rica. It was found at roughly 1200ft elevation in the foothills of Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica.

Microscopy Features

Dark purple to brownish spores, 12-13 by 8 micrometers on 4-spored basidia, usually leaves large dark prints 30-75mm in diameter.

Treasure Coast Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
Another classic Cubensis variety that originates from Florida. It was discovered on the Treasure Coast which is on the eastern coast of the state near an area where there are many actual sunken ships in the ocean. This variety is highly recommended for those who are just starting out in microscopy.

Features

Sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, dark purple spores. Typically, smaller small caps with lighter prints, ranging only 15-30 mm in diameter.

B+ Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
This infamous, and extremely popular variety was first found in Florida, and it was over 16in tall! It is extremely popular for the size it’s been documented to reach in the wild, not many varieties can exceed 16 inches B+ being one of the few. Also because of this variety's resilience it has been documented as extremely cold resistant. A must have for any spore collector and extremely easy to work with.

Features

Dark purple to brownish spores, 12-13 by 8 micrometers on 4-spored basidia, usually leaves large dark prints 30-75mm in diameter.

Albino A+ Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
Albino A+ is a P. Cubensis variety derived from the A+ strain that turned leucistic. Albino A+ is indeed actually leucistic, and not a true albino. The difference between the two is mainly spore color, leucistic variety spores are purple to black while true albino spores are clear in color and completely lack pigment altogether.

Features

Dark purple to brownish, sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Spores do prove this variety is leucistic as true albino mushrooms lack pigmentation throughout the entire mushroom including the spores. Still a great provider for study material, has medium caps around 35mm-75mm and are heavy depositors.

Penis Envy Uncut Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
Packing all the potency of the original Penis Envy, this variety of magic mushroom is sure to please. Despite its albino heritage, there appears to be no tendency to produce all white mushrooms. 'Uncut' refers to the foreskin like membranous annulus that is lacking in the original Penis Envy strain.

Features

Dark purple to brown in volume, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia.

Golden Teacher Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
One of the classics, highly sought-after P. Cubensis varieties that first appeared in the 1980’s. From there, its popularity in the microscopy community has just continued to grow. Exact origin is not known although according to the community grapevine this variety was first found on a farm in Georgia. Original specimens were said to have very thick robust stems, which were massive.

Features

Dark purplish black spores, sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Caps are generally dark spore printers and 40-60mm in diameter.

Malabar Coast Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
It originated from the Malabar Coast which is in India, and it is a great addition to any spore collector’s library. It has uniform genetics that are known for producing smaller caps that won’t tear the veil until fully opened even then sometimes still won’t tear away even after full maturity.

Features

Sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, dark purple to brownish spores. Caps are generally smaller and don’t tear away from the partial veil until reaches full maturity. Even then the membranous annulus (ring) on the partial veil will remain attached even after full maturity, causing spore deposits to be lighter than other varieties.

Jedi Mind f*ck Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
This Psilocybe Cubensis variety is a younger variety created in the early 2000's. Not much is known on the origin other than the obvious reference to the Star Wars franchise. Despite the limited back story, the name often brings up intrigue, and this is one of the most popular varieties among customers.

Features

Dark purple to blackish, sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Caps are typically large ranging from 40mm to 150mm and very heavy spore deposits.

Puerto Rican Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
This variety originated from a town called Canovanas which is on the northeast side of Puerto Rico. It is great for researchers of all levels. It is common for the veil to leave remnants on the cap and stem once it tears.

Features

Sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, purple to brownish spores. Caps are usually 50mm and more rarely being smaller.

Mazatapec Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
The variety is originally from central Mexico. It was used in ceremonies by the Mazatapec indigenous people to connect with spirits and the divine as well as to heal their ailments. It holds an especially important significance in the microscopy community as this variety and their spores were the first Psilocybe species to be introduced to the Western world by an indigenous Mazatapec woman making it a must have for any spore collector.

Features

Sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, purple to brownish spores. Caps are usually 50mm and more rarely being smaller.

Burma Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin-
This variety was first collected in the Southeast Asian country now known as Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). It was found growing on buffalo dung outside the city of Yangon (formally Rangoon) in an unplanted rice patty traded by a Thai student taking mushroom samples. Very forgiving samples to study making very popular in the community.

Features:

dark purple blackish, sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Spore prints are purple and average to dark purple, with smaller to medium caps usually 25-50mm in diameter.

Albino Penis Envy Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
Also known as Blue Penis Envy, this is a hybrid of the PF Albino and Penis Envy strains of Psilocybe cubensis. A novelty strain that produces smaller fruits than the original Penis Envy, with white to bluish white caps. Supplies limited due to poor spore production.

Features

Transparent, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, white in deposit.

Huautla Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
One of the classics, highly sought-after P. Cubensis varieties and is named after the city Huautla de Jimenez, in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, where Maria Sabina introduced the western world to psilocybin mushrooms and their effects. After this shamanic meeting, the scientific and psychedelic communities in America suddenly began exploding with knowledge and many new mushroom species discoveries. Without Maria Sabina's guidance and introduction, we may not be where we are today with psychedelic exploration, and all the new findings on the amazing benefits of micro-dosing magic mushrooms for treating mental health disorders such as depression, addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, autism, and everything else yet to be discovered.

Features

Dark purplish black spores, sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Caps are generally dark spore printers and 40-70mm in diameter.
